Join us in 2017 for an annual event where you can take a class or enter a confectionary delight in the show.  It's a weekend of fun where you have the opportunity to improve your skills and meet new people who are also interested in cake decorating.

Shaile Socher 

Shaile has worked as a sugar artist since 2003 taking her first sugar flower classes with Nicholas Lodge. Art has always been part of Shaile's life and sugar flowers quickly became her passion. To further her skills she learned from books then modeled from real flowers and she has been making sugar flowers since. Shaile has won 1st place and awards at numerous cake shows across the country, she does demo's and teaches at various cake shows and ICES events throughout the country. Shaile is approved ICES instructor and you can find her sugar flower tutorials in various publications.

Rhoda Sheridan 

I took my first cake decorating class while my husband was in the service so that I could learn to decorate cakes for my sons, got hooked, and here I am, 30 years later, still loving what I do. I was asked to become a Wilton instructor shortly after completing my course work, and I fell in love. I enjoy teaching beginners and I especially enjoy teaching people how to bring chocolate to life. I have taught all over the country and in Canada, and many of you know me as a WASSA judge, where I normally judge the beginner category. I specialize in chocolate decorations and truffles.

Renee Wesberry

Will  attempt to set a world record for the largest collection of Spatulas.

Simply Succulents

8:00am - 12:00 noon

Come take the class and make a realistic succulent without cutters using a couple of tools. You will shape petals, petal dust to shade and blend for a natural look, assemble the flower. All supplies are included.

Come see up-close an attempt at setting a world record. There will be a large spatula collection on display. So large that at the show this year, they will be attempting to set the record for the largest spatula collection in the world. You can watch the attempt in action on Saturday morning, or simply view the collection either day of the show. Here’s an example of the spatulas that will be at the show.

Frilly Peony

1:00pm to 5:oopm

Come take this class and to make a fantastic focal flower the Peony. Learn how to cut, shape and texture the petals and frilling the edges using a few tools. Learn petal dusting techniques to shade and highlight for a realistic looking flower, then assembly of the peony. All supplies are included.
